Macroom Town Council

As promised in the run up to the Macroom Town Council local elections of June 5th 2009, I will be issuing the minutes of each meeting on this page for all native Macrompians and new Macrompians alike to read and keep up to date with. I cannot publish the minutes until they are adopted by the council members at their monthly meetings. If you feel there is an issue you would like more information on or wish to comment on, please use the facility provided and I will answer every e-mail personally.

There are also numerous sub-committees which play an integral part in representing the interests of the people of Macroom in relation to issues of local importance. These sub-committees are Traffic sub-committee, Environmental sub-committee, Tidy Towns sub-committee, Twinning sub-committee and The Town Square Developement sub-committee. The members of these committees give up their time to enhance the future of Macroom for the next generation and a great debt of gratitude is due to each and every one of them for their continued hard work.
